Pulling back abruptly from the new 52-week high hit when noted in the 8/22/11 mid-day report - "Wedged higher last week without great volume conviction following its prior volume-driven gains above stubborn resistance in the $13 area. Quarterly sales revenues and earnings increases in the 4 latest comparisons through June 30, 2011 were well above the +25% guideline satisfying the C criteria. The downturn in FY '09 earnings is a fundamental flaw concerning the A criteria. With respect to the I criteria, the number of top rated funds owning its shares fell from 911 in Mar '11 to 860 in Jun '11. It survived but failed to impress since 4/23/2008 when it was dropped from the Featured Stocks list and subsequently fell from $13 to $3 over the next 6 months. First it had traded up as much as +25.4% after it was first featured at $15.89 in the February 2008 CANSLIM.net News (read here)."

Reported earnings +26% on +15% sales revenues for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 versus the year ago period. Its quarterly sales revenues and earnings per share track record has been borderline or below the investment system's minimum guidelines. This Computer Software - Medical firm has a great annual earnings (A criteria) history.

Off the session's earlier highs and slumping into the red, now perched -5% off its 52-week high. A spurt of gains with slightly above average volume helped it rebound above its 50 DMA line. It had slumped below that short-term average since noted in the 6/29/11 mid-day report - "It has spent very little time consolidating during its ascent since its 4/05/11 gap up on news it would buy Procter & Gamble's Pringles. Strong earnings history in recent years (A criteria). Earnings rose +73% on +61% sales revenues in the quarter ended April 30, 2011 versus the year ago period. The Dec '10 quarter also showed strong increases, but quarterly earnings were reported at -24% for the Oct '10 period, a flaw in its otherwise impressive earnings history. Small supply of only 22 million outstanding shares (S criteria) could contribute to greater volatility in the event of any institutional maneuvering."
