Today marks its 3rd consecutive mid-day report appearance, churning heavy volume this week while not making meaningful price progress, a sign of distributional pressure. It is consolidating above prior highs and its 50 DMA line defining support in the $24-25 area. Quarterly and annual (C & A criteria) earnings and sales revenues history has not been strong and steady. Large supply of 2.28 billion outstanding shares could make it a stodgy and slow performer.

Inching higher today for an 11th consecutive gain and another new 52-week high. Volume-driven gains in the past 3 weeks helped it gradually rise from an orderly base pattern since the 5/05/11 mid-day report noted - "Group RS rating currently is D, not reassuring concerning the L criteria. Earnings increase of +46% for the Mar '11 quarter was the first comparison in more than 2 years with a better than +25% increase."
