This Vancouver, BC headquartered firm engaged in silver production in Mexico gapped up today and is challenging the all-time high hit as it was last noted in the mid-day report on 3/09/11 when there was a negative reversal. It found support above its 50 DMA line in the interim and has spurted higher with more volume-driven gains. As noted in prior mid-day reports - "On 12/15/10 it was listed on the NYSE. Challenged its 52-week high when noted in the 3/18/11 mid-day report while up with above average volume. It has built an orderly flat base, but prior mid-day reports noted concerns as - "Recent quarters showed better earnings increases versus losses the year earlier. Prior quarterly comparisons and annual earnings (A criteria) growth have not been strong and steady, so it is fundamentally below guidelines of the fact-based investment system."

Hit another new high today with its 7th consecutive gain, extended from any sound base. The 3/15/11 mid-day report noted - "Powered to a new 52-week high today after overcoming early weakness, and no resistance remains due to overhead supply now. Recently found support after briefly violating its 50 DMA line again, and that important short-term average defined a support level during its ascent following a technical breakout on 7/22/10. Reported earnings +37% on +17% sales revenues for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 versus the year ago period, and similar increases for the September period. Prior quarterly comparisons' earnings and sales increases were borderline or below the guidelines of the fact-based investment system. Its annual earnings (A criteria) history appears to have been steady, but prior notes in mid-day reports in Dec '08 and Apr '09 cited 'fundamental concerns.' This previously featured stock was dropped from the CANSLIM.net Featured Stocks list on 2/27/07."

It had slumped well below its 50 DMA line a couple of times while consolidating since last noted in the 2/04/11 mid-day report - "Increase in volume totals without meaningful price progress since 12/17/10 is giving it's chart a distributional look while consolidating above its 50 DMA line and prior highs. Earnings history is below guidelines after a downward turn in recent years. Based on weak technical action it was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 1/11/08."

Hit another new 52-week and all-time highs today, extended from any sound base. Rallied promptly from support at its 50 DMA line, and consecutive volume-driven gains prompted prior mid-day report appearances while it was noted - "Recent quarters showed much better sales and earnings increases versus the year earlier. Prior quarterly comparisons and annual earnings (A criteria) growth have not been strong and steady, so it is fundamentally below guidelines of the fact-based investment system. Since last noted in the 12/06/10 mid-day report it proposed another Secondary Offering on 12/14/10. It was dropped from the Featured Stocks list on 11/8/07, very soon after it had been featured in the October '07 CANSLIM.net News (read here). Since last noted in the mid-day report on 3/01/11 a heavy bout of distributional pressure led to a brief test of support near its 200 DMA line on 3/15/11. Its choppy action is not recognized as a sound base pattern under the guidelines of the investment system. Recent quarterly comparisons show improving sales and earnings and its annual earnings growth since public trading history beginning in June 2009 has been good.
